Bring Fido to the Nordic Center

February 21, 2019

Did you bring your dog with you on vacation to Winter Park or Grand County?  If so, consider checking out this Nordic Center to bring your 4 legged friend while you spend a day outside experiencing Grand Lake (a town that is located at the western entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park).

The Grand Lake Metropolitan Recreation District has a picturesque Nordic Center with views of the Rocky Mountains and Continental Divide.  Offering world class trails for skate skiers and classic cross country skiing.  Snowshoeing is another favorite activity to do for folks that want to explore gentle rolling trails through beautiful forests and views of the Colorado Rockies and Grand Lake.

Beyond being a state of the art Nordic Center, another great aspect of this location is the option to bring your dog.  There is a dedicated dog loop on the cross country/snowshoe trails.  This gives our furry friends a place to run around and let out some much needed energy.
