There is a new area in Winter Park called the 'Shed Adventure Concierge' located at the Winter Park Adventure and Supply Co., in the Village at Winter Park Resort. Talk one-on-one with the resort experts to get tips on finding the best runs for your skill level, and other areas around the mountain to explore. Discover the perfect runs and mountain dining options for you and your group. Share your experience and start planning your next day's adventure.
These experts can also tell you more about adventures like the 'Scenic Snow Cat Tours' at the resort. If you want a unique mountain sightseeing experience, sign up for the snow cat tour. Escape the busy base area as you relax in the coach of the snow cat and head into the Arapaho National Forest. Take in picturesque views of Winter Park Resort, Fraser Valley, Vasquez Peak Wilderness and the Continental Divide. This 2 hour tour will have you exploring a variety of terrain while you also learn about the history of the area. Local flora and fauna will also be touched upon to provide for an environmental educational experience. Be sure to make a reservation at the Winter Park Adventure and Supply Co., as space can fill up.
Another unique adrenaline tour is the Night Ski Bike Tour. Make the most of your ski vacation by extending your adventure into the evening hours with a ski bike tour at Winter Park Resort. Try something new and be ready for another adventure of a lifetime with incredible alpenglow views all around the Continental Divide and Arapaho National Forest. Follow the professional tour guides down several runs around the Gondola and experience the mountain with a whole new perspective. Be sure to book this adventure early as space is limited. $89 per person includes ski bike, guide and gondola access. Tours are available from January 3rd to March 30th on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 5 to 7 p.m.
